Terms of Membership & Service

1. Membership Nature & Scope

First Law Shield (Pvt) Ltd. ("FLS", "we", "us") provides structured, pre-paid legal advisory, document review, opinion drafting, and crisis coordination services on an annual membership basis. Membership entitles the registered member (and eligible family members or employees where expressly designated in the category tier) to access defined service allowances during the 12-month membership period.

Membership is not an insurance policy, indemnity agreement, or unconditional litigation outcome guarantee.

2. Defined Service Allowances & Fair-Use Policy

Each membership category includes defined quotas for consultations, document page markups, formal written opinions, and tax return filings. All consultations and inquiries operate under our Fair-Use Policy to ensure equitable distribution of legal resources. Any requests exceeding designated tier caps are billed at transparent, pre-agreed member rates.

Allowances expire at the end of the 12-month billing period and do not roll over to subsequent membership cycles.

3. Panel Lawyer Representation & Court Litigation

Annual membership fees cover included out-of-court advisory, document preparation, and risk analysis within tier allowances. If court representation, appellate filing, trial appearances, or judicial pleadings are required, matters may be referred to qualified panel lawyers. In-court litigation is typically additional professional services at transparent member rates unless expressly included in your tier.

4. Mandatory Pre-Assignment Conflict Checks

Prior to assigning any legal request or matter to an advocate, FLS executes an automated and manual conflict-of-interest check against adverse parties. In the event of a verified conflict of interest, FLS will promptly notify the member and reassign the matter to an independent panel counsel or provide an allowance credit.

5. Fees, Taxes & Verification SLA

Membership fees are quoted net of third-party payment processing fees and applicable sales taxes or withholding taxes. Offline bank transfers are subject to compliance verification and are activated within 24 hours of receipt submission. Portal access remains locked until payment clearance.

6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Lahore, Pakistan.
