Professional Confidentiality & Legal Privilege
How First Law Shield protects your most sensitive commercial, personal, and legal disclosures.
1. Advocate-Client Legal Privilege
Under the Qanun-e-Shahadat Order, 1984, communications between a client and their legal advocate may be protected by legal professional privilege. When you communicate with First Law Shield or submit documents through the member portal, we handle those communications with confidentiality safeguards appropriate to the engagement and applicable law.
2. Professional non-disclosure obligations
Officers, coordinators, and verified panel lawyers working with First Law Shield are bound by confidentiality duties, NDAs where applicable, and Bar Council ethical codes. Unauthorized disclosure of member documents or communications is professional misconduct.
3. Segregated Matter Repositories
Member files and documents are stored in logically isolated, encrypted digital vaults. Access is strictly role-gated: only the assigned advocate and reviewing jurist can inspect the evidentiary records of an active matter.
4. Conflict Screen Protections
If an adverse party attempts to seek advice or consult with First Law Shield regarding a matter where another member has already engaged our desk, our automated conflict screening immediately locks out the adverse party to prevent information leaks or dual representation.
Our Uncompromising Pledge
You can upload contracts, property deeds, inheritance documents, and sensitive records through the member portal. Protecting member confidentiality is a core obligation of our membership service.
